The ARC Discovery Project, ‘Resilient Humanitarianism: The League of Red Cross Societies, 1919-1991’, led by Chief Investigator, Professor Melanie Oppenheimer at Flinders University is offering a new PhD. This 4-year project aims to advance the concept of ‘resilient humanitarianism’ through an historical investigation of the League of Red Cross Societies.The PhD student will focus on a case study of either blood transfusion initiatives, a core public health programme of the League or the Junior Red Cross.
