Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in East Asian History at the University of Manchester. Candidates with interests in any area of East Asian history, including South East Asia, and especially in Chinese History, are encouraged to apply. Applications from candidates with research interests that map onto one or more of History’s existing research groups and centres (The Centre for Economic Cultures; the Centre for the Cultural History of War; Embodied Emotions; Political Cultures; Race, Roots and Resistance) are particularly welcome although other research areas will be considered. The position is full time and permanent.
