Kidman Chair in Australian Studies, University of Adelaide

The Kidman Chair of Australian Studies has been established to make a significant contribution to the study of Australian culture and society through teaching and research, and to offer excellent supervision to higher degree students. The University seeks applications from outstanding discipline experts who have made an impact in Australian Literature, Creative Writing, Media, History, Demography and Migration Studies, Politics and Sociology, Education, Music, Legal Studies, Indigenous Studies, or Agri-cultures. As an agile and personable academic leader, the applicant should have demonstrated they are driven by inspiring students to become leaders in their field, by a robust vision, research excellence and by making a real difference, for example by promoting discussion and debate on issues that are pertinent to the continuing health of Australian culture and societyLevel E, four year fixed term position.
