Honest History update

The Honest History coalition has done a special update of its website for Remembrance Day (which is also the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Australian War Memorial). New on the site are Richard Reid’s reflection on Remembrance Day, a story of how Canberra activists successfully campaigned against a plan to build rival memorials to the AWM, a look at a bizarre document from Remembrance Day 1951, and a note about an unfortunate slip-up involving the Unknown Australian Soldier. There is also advice of the Honest History book, well on the way to publication in April next year.
