Congratulations to Michael Belgrave from Massey University, who has been awarded the 2018 Ernest Scott Prize for Dancing with the King. His book documents the rise and fall of the King Country, an independent state governed by the Māori King where settlers and the Crown entered at risk of their lives between 1864 and 1885.
