Congratulations to the authors, including AHA members Kate Laing, Lucy Davies, Peter McPhee, Ruth Ford, Mary Tomsic and Bronwyn Beech Jones, for the publication of the latest issue of Agora, by the History Teachers’ Association of Victoria. It explores the theme ‘Women in History’, with profiles on the ju-jitsu suffragettes, the working women of WWII, indigenous activists, Australia’s ‘brazen hussies’ and ‘women of steel’, Cold War dissidents, ancient oracles and Viking queens, as well as exploring issues such as Wikipedia’s gender bias.
