This funding opportunity for postgraduate students and independent historians encourages and supports emerging historians who would otherwise be unable to attend the annual AHA conference. Ten bursaries, of $700 each, will be used for travel and accommodation by participants at the AHA conference at the University of Sydney, 6–10 July 2015; the conference registration fee will be waived for bursary recipients. The scheme includes an individual mentor and participation in two writing workshops during the conference to assist recipients to turn their presentation into a publishable article. Applications due 16 March 2015. Full details and application form are on the AHA website.
