Reconciling with the Frontier: Accounting for Colonial Conflict PhD Scholarship, Adelaide University

The scholarship is part of an Australian Research Council Discovery Project, ‘Reconciling with the Frontier: Accounting for Colonial Conflict’. The Chief Investigators, A/Prof Robert Foster and Prof Amanda Nettelbeck, are interested in the history and memory of frontier conflict in colonial South Australia, and contemporary efforts at truth telling and reconciliation. The successful candidate’s project is expected to be in the field of frontier conflict in South Australia, but is open to a range of different approaches to the subject. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the project’s industry partners, the South Australian Museum, State Library of South Australia, the History Trust of South Australia, State Records and ReconciliationSA.
