The AHA would like to congratulate the two recipients of the 2016 round two NAA-AHA Postgraduate Scholarships for assistance with digitisation of material held by the National Archives. Natalie Fong will be assisted for her project ‘“Fresh Off the Boat”: Chinese Merchants and Transnational Connections between China, Hong Kong and Australia’ and Bethany Phillips-Peddlesden for hers, ‘Women and Politics: Maternalism, Party Politics and Political Wives’. The 2017 round 1 scholarships will open for applications in April 2017.
