The RA (0.5 FTE through 2019) will work under the supervision of Professor Simon Ville of the University of Wollongong and with other members of the research team from the universities of Sydney and Melbourne and the Australian Museum. The focus of the RA’s work will be on the history of the global trade in natural history specimens in the nineteenth century. A background in history or economic history and experience in archival research and using Excel would be preferable. Preferred location is Sydney or Wollongong.
