‘History and the Hill’: Australian Policy History Conference Registrations Open

12-14 June 2019, University of Melbourne

The second annual Australian Policy and History ‘History and the Hill’ Conference is designed for both policy practitioners and historians. In a series of historical case studies, the conference will disseminate expert knowledge about the historical background to pressing issues of public policy. The conference will have papers presented by Michelle Arrow, Joanna Cruickshank, Kate McGregor, Frank Bongiorno, Peter Edwards and others. There will also be workshops with current and former public servants such as Peter Shergold & Terry Moran AC and journalists including Katharine Murphy (The Guardian). The event will also feature the Australian Policy and History Public Lectureby Professor Graeme Davison.
