Applicants are sought for a Postgraduate (PhD) scholarship attached to an Australian Research Council project, “Gendered Enterprise: A History of Australian Businesswomen since 1880”, being undertaken by Dr Catherine Bishop. This project aims to produce the first substantive history of Australian female small business owners since 1880. The suitable applicant will have a disciplinary background in history, or related discipline and should be interested in writing a doctoral thesis related to issues of gender and business in twentieth century Australia.
