Robert Reynolds and Shirleene Robinson’s Gay & Lesbian, Then & Now: Australian Stories from a Social Revolution (Black Inc.) reveals the legacies of homophobia, the personal struggles and triumphs involved in coming out, and the many different ways of being gay or lesbian in Australia through the intimate life stories of 13 gay and lesbian Australians, ranging in age from 20 to 80.
The book will be launched in Sydney next week.
