Andrew Brown-May

Dr Andrew Brown-May is Senior Lecturer in the School of Historical Studies at The University of Melbourne. A principal editor of and major contributor to The Encyclopedia of Melbourne (Cambridge University Press, 2005), his other publications include Melbourne Street Life (1998, winner of the 1999 Victorian Community and Local History Award), Espresso! Melbourne Coffee Stories (2001) and with Norman Day, Federation Square (2003). He is currently writing Welsh Missionaries and British Imperialism in North-east India, to be published by Manchester University Press.
