Australia and the Global War Symposium CFP

10-11 September 2020, UNSW Canberra

To mark the 80th anniversary of the Second World War, UNSW Canberra, in conjunction with the Second World War Research Group’s Asia-Pacific Regional Group (SWWRG Asia-Pacific), intends hosting an annual symposium from 2020 to 2025. The symposia aimto encourage scholarship in the Asia-Pacific region to present new perspectives on the Second World War. These symposia seek to consider Australia’s role in the war alongside the experience of its allies and enemies. The scope will be across all fields of study concerning the war and the societies involved in it. The first symposium will be held on the theme ‘Australia and the Global War.’
